Labor Action Masthead

Labor Action, while an official organ of the Socialist Party of California, was dominated by the Trotskyist faction that entered the Socialist Party of America in 1936. It was generally viewed as a Trotskyist broadsheet newspaper, edited as it was, by James P. Cannon, founder of Trotskyism in the United States. This is the reason for its placement in Encyclopedia of Trotskyism On-Line
