This was originally published in a series of 17 articles entitled The Paris Commune in Justice, the journal of the Social Democratic Federation during 1894 on the following dates, 1st, 27th January; 2nd, 24th February; 3rd, 3rd March; 4th, 10th March; 5th, 17th March; 6th, 31st March; 7th, 14th April; 8th, 21st April; 9th, 12th May; 10th, 2nd June; 11th, 7th July; 12th, 4th August; 13th, 11th August; 14th, 25th August; 15th, 22nd September; 16th, 24th November; 17th, 1st December. It was then republished as a short book 1895, A History of the Paris Commune, Twentieth Century Press, 135pp, 87pp by Bax, together with, pp.88-135, reprints of two pamphlets which were issued by the General Council of the International Working-Men's Association during the progress of the War of 1870 and on the Communal rising in the spring of 1871. The book was republished by them 1903, 1907. |
