April 1, 1971

On this date the Eva Peron Commando of the Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias seized the Sub-Commissariat of Villa Pontazi near La Plata, and after reducing the police personnel took four high power 9 mm Browning pistols, a 16 caliber rifle, a 22 caliber revolver, ammunition, uniforms, belts and other elements useful in the revolutionary struggle.

Telephone communications were interrupted in the zone around the objective, and copies of the attached communiqué were distributed in the same place. At the beginning of the retreat of our effectives a member of the repressive forces fired on them. A fight broke out, as a consequence of which a policeman was wounded. The police reached the objective after the operation with sufficient time to appreciate the nature of the action, for our symbol had been painted on the walls.

Once again we warn the repressive forces that they should not enter into combat with our commandos, for they have considerable military superiority.

Free or dead, slaves never. For the return of the people to power with Peron. Ever onward to victory.
